F22 flange is a heat-resistant ferritic alloy steel, with a basic alloy composition of 2.25%CR-1%MO. It is equivalent to the national standard 12CR2MO1 and the German standard 10CRMO910.
F22 flange is a heat-resistant ferritic alloy steel, with a basic alloy composition of 2.25%CR-1%MO. It is equivalent to the national standard 12CR2MO1 and the German standard 10CRMO910.
F22 is a pearlescent heat-resistant steel forging in accordance with the American standard, and it complies with the ASTM A182/A182M-2018 standard
F22 has good cold strain plasticity and machinability, and its weldability is acceptable. It is used to manufacture main tubes with steam parameters up to 510℃, superheated tubes with wall temperatures up to 540℃, and various elastic components that operate at high temperatures.
When installing a pair of F22 flanges, the bolt holes on the equipment flange need to be aligned with the corresponding bolt holes on the fixed flange and parallel to the fixed flange. To check and correct the direction of the flange from left to right, it is required that there be a diameter deviation of 1.5‰ from the outside of the flange and 90° square or small. After passing through points 3 and 4, spot weld to the next point. Complete the spot welding and fixation of the flange. When choosing a flange that matches your equipment or valve assembly, please confirm that the flange of the original equipment or valve assembly is of the same size as the flange connection used in your pipeline.
Before installing the F22 flange, clean the flange surface, especially the surface of the sealing parts. When installing the flat welding flange, insert the pipe end into two-thirds of the inner diameter of the flange and spot weld the flange onto the pipe. For horizontal pipes, spot weld large-diameter flanges from the top and then use 90° Angle gauges from different directions. Position and calibrate the flange so that the sealing surface is perpendicular to the centerline of the pipe, and perform spot welding below the weld point.
For F22 flange clearance and surface treatment, use a brush to remove the loose rust on the flange clearance and screws. Clean the flange clearance with compressed air; If chemical rust inhibitors are used, they will affect the sealing of the flange. When installing large-diameter flanges, operations should be carried out in accordance with the above installation principles and requirements.
