A Pipe bend (hot induction bend) is a pipe fitting which is used to achieve a change in pipe direction or flow direction. The pipe bends usually have a bending radius more than 1.5 times pipe diameters. If this bending radius is less than 1.5R, it is called Elbow. 2.5D, 3D & 5D are the most popular bending radius in piping industry, commonly the degree is 90°or 45°.
